The world grieved, the skies and the vast seas thrashed with great fear and a man who desired to be a god betrayed the heaven. From a humble man who followed the light to whom towered over a goddess Ia, Keledus became the King of Darkness.
The age of peace believed to prolong for eternity under the goddess Ia ended, with the rise of Keledus. Keledus sealed the goddess, even before she saw the dreams and hopes for the world she created were realized before her eyes. Ia spread all of her remaining power throughout the world before she was sealed. Now, the last thing she was able to do was to wait until the heroes of this world would rise to fulfill her last hope and save this world from the utter darkness.

The rise of the Temple Knights and the Superion Guardians!
The lands devastated by the wars, began to see the emerging two lights that were ready to follow the will of Ia. However, their different ideologies and philosophies resulted in their division and conflicts. This gave a way for the encroaching Forces of Darkness to gradually weaken the power of the two lights.
In the face of the fall of the entire mankind, the two hopes had finally united their powers into one and began to wage a final war against the Forces of Darkness for the goddess of light, Ia. This was their last cry for hope and their desire to realize the will of Ia.

There are two factions in Maestia, who share the one same goal - to defeat Keledus (the 'King of Men' and the one who seals the goddess Ia) but have different beliefs that results in their conflicting relationship.
A. Superion Guardian : They.ve accepted the extinction of god and believe that it is time for men to rule the world. Their goal is to Kill Keledus in order to protect the world and guard the people of Superion. They who believe in the infinite potential of men strive to find peace through firm will and faith on men. They believe that the order of the world is made not from one.s will but from everyone.s will.
B. Temple Knight: They believe that peace could only be retained through the resurrection of Ia. Killing Keledus and resurrecting “Ia” in the Sanctuary of Life is what they aim for. It is their belief that “Ia” should retain his power and create a world full of balance and peace. Because they wish to worship god, the Temple Knights act noble and always wish to improve themselves. A true model of a Hero.
