Supremacy 1914 introduces new light cruiser unit and gives away free Premium Accounts

Since Tuesday, the troops in Supremacy 1914 have received back-up: The new light cruiser unit will support the naval units battleship and submarine in Goldrounds. The light cruiser may be a little weaker and have a smaller attack range than the battleship but it requires far less resources, is faster, and can be built very early in the game. In order to celebrate this great event, all players receive one week of Premium Membership to join free Goldrounds in which they can test the new light cruiser.

This news is particularly interesting for all players who have already registered or are planning to register for the upcoming tournament that was announced last week: The light cruiser will also be available in tournament games for the first time.

To build the light cruiser, you need a harbor and a level 1 factory. It costs 15,000 pounds (in-game currency), 2,000 iron ore, 2,000 coal, and 1,000 oil. It can go as fast as 40 kph (the battleship only goes 30 kph) and its attack radius is 40 km (the battleship’s is 75 km).
