Operation Gamma 41

A World torn apart by war, that is the truth of the early 20th Century. Nations tear each other apart and entire generations of men are sent into battle in a variety of war-machines to kill or be killed.
In 1941, Operation Gamma changed the war forever.
After two years of bitter fighting, more and more countries are sucked into wars wake. The League of Nations, which had unsuccessfully worked to uphold peace since the last devastating World War, watches helplessly as the Axis Forces and the Free Allies wage war on an unprecedented scale.
In a last attempt to stop the madness, the League's head, Richard P. Ward, invites all the warring nation's leaders to a final conference in Geneva.
With their troops evenly matched, neither side able to gain a decisive victory, the leaders follow Ward's call. The hint of a secret that would change the war and the chance to eye-up the competition was enough to bring them all together, for nobody dared to miss out. The world held its breath for a moment, could a path to peace be on the horizon? Then came OG-Day... Everything changed that fateful day. As the radio transmission of the conference started, silence fell across the lands and battlefields alike. But something wasn't right. There was only static noise coming from the radio, followed by otherworldly wails and screams. Then a hoarse whisper, a warning: "Gamma is coming". When the first airplanes arrived at Geneva, they found a burning city. In 1941, the world was left devoid of its leaders.

Some battles were lost, but the war would wage on, no side willing to give in. However, while cities were burning and young heroes rose to glory, nobody was aware of an entirely different shadow emerging from the ashes of war. Operation Gamma 41 Reviews

Andy Robson: The game should be good but it's let down constantly by poor management, customer service and technical support. Every week the uodate brings about fresh problems and server crashes are frequent and result in players losing entire armies for days on end.Customer service is appaling and communication from the game developers to players is non existant.

Items that upgrade cities, commanders and armies are so rare from battles that players face two choices, first is to do without or second physically buy the items from the online shop, the items that are most needed go into short supply at the exact time the prices increase.

Two servers were in operation and several attempts were made to merge them with promises of compensation, it's still outstanding weeks later.

One to miss by the widest margin possible unless you really have more time and money than is good for you.

Glen Jones: I have to agree with everything said above but it doesn't really describe just how bad this game has become, not that it was great before but in the last month it has been almost unplayable at times.

The game description is a bit misleading too, the "nique Player Driven Story Line" hasn't been updated for a few months now, just as well really as it would probably cause something else to break elsewhere in the game as every update seems to do.
