In Supremacy 1914, the player becomes head of a mighty nation in precarious Europe after the turn of the century. He faces the challenge to become the undisputed sovereign leader of the whole continent using smart diplomacy or simply the brute force of his glorious armies.

Audacious combats and the clever development of a prospering infrastructure are the foundation for victory. Yet, absolute power is reserved to the combatant who forms the most intelligent and mightiest alliances.

Supremacy 1914 is a real time strategy game for up to 30 participants. A sophisticated AI ensures fun even in rounds with less than 30 participants. The duration of one round varies between four to eight weeks. You play on a map where units move continuously instead of being listed in tables, like in most browser games.

a supremacy player: Im really enjoying this game.
like all free games it attracts more younger gamers that complain about the speed but experienced gamers in this genre can appreciate this game for all of its excellent qualities. It does have some balance problems with '' Goldmark '' premium but this is not unlike any other free to play browser game with a premium payment option.
The community also is very good and of mixed ages and location, the management of the community is sadly awful with volunteer staff on ''front line'' customer service duty and really stinking it up - so chat and forums to be avoided.
the game is being updated and clearly progressed by an active development team.

Tom Foolery: I have been playing this game for several years now and find it to be great fun. The development team is constantly working on making changes to the game. Many of these improvements often make game play easier or more enjoyable like the new armored car unit but other improvements seem aimed soly at allowing victory to be bought by the one with the most cash. The most recent single player tournement is a perfect example of players buying victory.

The Bytro development staff while certainly busy will rarely communicate with the player community except for the announcement of a whole new game function. While this is commonplace in online games Bytro fails to inform even their volenteer moderators ahead of time. This makes explaining these new aspects deficult for them as they are in the dark just aswell and often have the same questions.

Overall the game is enjoyable even if contact with the developers is lacking on the player level.
